On a guided tour of the House of Parliament, you can admire the ornate Grand Stairway, the Dome Hall and the Hungarian Holy Crown. The approximately 45-minute programme is one of Budapest’s most distinctive visitor experiences.

Shoes on the Danube Bank

One of Budapest’s best-known and most moving memorials is just a few minutes’ walk from the House of Parliament. The bronze shoes placed along the Danube commemorate victims of the Second World War.
